MAY 2008

Ah, spring, perhaps.  With the cold weather and the plants running about 3-4 weeks behind there is a divine sense of diretion and planning that overlays long winters and cold springs.  We all sense that there will be a particularly warm summer.  So this cold spring is our region's way of front loading the wet and water for the later warm summer when water will be needed.

Patience, and the opportunity to see the abundant beauty all around us is what keeps us living in the Pacific Northwest.   After a few years of living with layering as a fashion of necessity,  as our reaction when the sun does shine a deep appreciation of the beauty of change.  We cannot predict or assume it will be sunny, snowing or raining.  We mostly can predict we will have a few clouds.

The ducks are all on their nests so we just see the male mallards meeting on our pond quietly quacking with each other.  In just a few weeks we will see the fluffs of yellow skimming around our pond like little bees around the garden.  The mother ducks are very good and take their jobs very seriously.  Those who don't lose their young ones.  Over the years we've observed that most ducks "know what they are doing" but there is the occassional mother who isn't as careful or doesn't teach her young to do exactly what she says and the painful count as her little ones dwindle down to zero is the outcome.

I am exiting this newsletter currently.   Dinner is just about ready and my loving husband and I are going to enjoy a Saturday night with each other, our two cats, and our two dog friends that we are dog sitting.  Annie, the 2 year old black lab and Mackenzie our 14 year old hound dog.  Both belong to different friends but it just so happens that we are watching them both this weekend.   We are so fortunate to experience such wisdom and beauty and energy in our animal friends.  It is always an honor to have them visit.  Out cats quickly adjust.  Usually within 24 hours our kitties have no problem with our guests.

Happy May.  Remember we have our Intuitive Circle on Thursday, May 29, 6-8:30pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church.  Our topic this month is Angels. How to communicate, work and heal with our angels.  We will also learn how to use oracle cards and do angel readings for ourselves and our friends and loved ones.  There will be angel oracle cards available if you need to buy some.

Please let me know if you are coming. Please register under Workshops category under the Services tab on the home page.  There is no charge for this class. We ask for a donation only to cover the rental of the building.  Love to you dear ones.

Look forward to seeing you.

Love, light and blessings,
Marie-Claire
